The sculpture "L'ombra che si accoccola" (The crouching shadow) presented
at the 2nd Biannual of Textile Art of Chieri, proposes itself as a vortex, a whirlpool
which defines musical synaesthesis, suggested by the music score intertwined in the
grid of the structure. The notes seem to want to dominate the brute force of the
plastic, a bristly form which surrenders to harmony and transforms itself into the
ordinary volutes which articulate downwards. Again, I have interpreted it as a
desire to put rules and harmony into existence.
